Surprise House Warming Gift

Erik and I went over to my parents house for supper this past Sunday. 

My mom has always been extremely good at giving gifts and really knows my style. She surprised me with the best house warming gift ever! 

I walk in and sitting on the table is a GIANT tea cup! Huge!!!

The ideas and possibilities are absolutely endless! It's actually a planter but I'm pretty sure that Erik and I will use it as a candy dish on a coffee table in the living room. 

Summer Food

I have been enjoying the wonderful fresh food that summer has to offer. The other day I made myself for breakfast avocado toast with fresh raspberries and fresh homemade pomegranate iced tea. 

Then for breakfast this morning I made Erik and I waffles with syrup, strawberries and raspberries and whipped cream. 

I don't enjoy the summer much for the heat but I sure love the yum yums. 

Moving happenings

So... I'm moving in 13 days. Erik and I have found a place that I'm super excited about and we signed the lease yesterday!  I'm super stoked about the fact that there's no carpet to be seen in the entire place, and the walls are painted a beautiful grey. I'm not overly stoked about the small windows and what will most likely be minimal sunlight but you can't have everything. 

I've been buying cute things for the place and the dinosaur flower prints I ordered for the bathroom came in! 

Everyone assumes I want like a 5 year old boy dinosaur bathroom when really it's a classy feminine dinosaur bathroom thank you very much.
